Why do we use NZ Grass Fed Whey?

Unlike many other Dairy manufacturing countries, New Zealand upholds very strict regulations in production of Dairy products. The cows roam around grazing on natural chemical free pastures and are free from Hormones, Antibiotics, Pesticides and GMO’s. In New Zealand the use of Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH)(rBST) is banned, rBGH is a genetically engineered hormone injected into dairy cows to increase milk production. This means with Mata Protein, you are safe from exposure and assured that you are using the purest product available.

How does added Digestive Enzymes help?

Real Whey is blended with digestive enzymes, which is designed to maximise nutrient absorption and relieve G.I stress. Under normal conditions many liquids we intake rush through our G.I tract rapidly resulting in small amount of absorption. With enzymes added to our whey isolate, we get support with healthy digestion and higher amount of amino acid levels in our blood, so that we have more available for muscles and other tissues. 

What is the mata protein filtering process?

Mata Protein goes through Cross-flow micro filtration & ultra-filtration. Giving us 100% bioavailable, un-denatured protein. When protein is filtered through low temperatures, it leaves us with high levels of glutathione (antioxidant) and other immune system benefits. Glutathione itself is the body’s most powerful antioxidant and is found inside every single cell of your body.

Why do we use natural flavouring?

Mata Protein's flavouring is 100% natural. We use organic Vanilla Bean extract and Raw Cacao. Which are both naturally rich in antioxidants. Blended with Stevia, which is a zero calorie, plant derived sweetener produced in South America. This has given our TD-ONE the unique natural taste without the negative effects of artificial sweeteners.

What about gluten?

Sensitivities can lead to many problems ranging from digestion upsets, bloating, and cramping which could compromise the ability for nutrients to pass through with high efficiency.
